BEN Wilson has vowed to bounce back after losing his lead in the British Supersport Championships.
The Kirton rider (pictured) failed to finish both races at Silverstone over the weekend, being overtaken in the standings by rival Alistair Seeley.
“We have to put this weekend behind us and concentrate on the final round where we have three races to contest,” Wilson said.
“The championship is far from over and it is still mathematically possible for me to regain my position.
“I will keep on fighting right to the end and see what unfolds.”
The final round will be a return to Brands Hatch on October 8-9.
Brands Hatch was the scene of the race of the season for Wilson.
He and Seeley fought tooth and nail throughout the two races.
Seeley won both but only by a tyre tread, but the pair were virtually inseparable at the finish with Seeley getting the win each time by less than one hundredth of a second.
To win the championship, Ben realises he needs to win all three races in the final round to be sure of lifting the trophy.
A difficult task – but as he says, not impossible.
