There were wins for Boston’s B, C and F teams in the Winter League on Sunday morning.

Boston C team’s James Newton, Ryan Frankish, Dan Bambridge and Anthony Hulley continued their unbeaten run, notching up a 4-0 result against Boston E’s Paul Stevenson, Chris Mepham, Peter Elphick and Lisa Stevenson.

Boston B earned their second successive win.

After last weekend’s 5-3 win against Billinghay for Sophie Hawkesworth, Rachel Gedney, Jeremy George-Jones and Courtney George-Jones, and unchanged side beat Boston D’s David Dunlop, Richard Cozens, Thomas Cozens and Michal Chmielik 5-3.

Boston F also had a good result against Woodhall Spa.

Away from home, they won the match and dropped only one set in the process.

The team on the day was Toby McDonnell-Woods, Opp Watts, Zach McDonnell-Woods and Richard Woods.

The Boston Ladies’ Seconds are thriving in Division Two of the Lincolnshire Veterans’ League.

After gaining promotion last season, the side have fitted in nicely to their new surroundings.

However, this week Joan Beale, Jane Hindmarch, Catherine Ellis and Claire Smith narrowly lost to Louth.

Boston C faced Horncastle in the Lincolnshire Mini Tennis Leagues.

Joshua Brooks, Tajus Duscjevicus, James Burrell, Emily Stukins, Rodrigo Quevedo, Lucy Hopper, Louise Sharpe and William Lakin represented the club at green, red and orange levels.
