Lynn Worthington came out on top when Boston Golf Club’s Ladies’ Section hosted a three-club challenge.

Twenty-one golfers took the the Cowbridge Course to compete in an 18-hole stableford competition... where each entrant was only allowed to carry two clubs and a putter in their bag.

Considering the lack of tools to work with, some remarkable scores were returned.

Lynn returned with 34 points to finish in first place, ahead of runner-up Anne Wallhead on 30 points.

Jacquie Short also scored 30 points but dropped to third on countback.

The nine-hole competition was won by Jean Flynn with 13 points.
