Wrangle anglers finish in third spot

The Wrangle duo of Paul Cridland and Alan Steadman came third at the annual Skegness Pier Angling Club Lincolnshire Pairs match.

After finishing level on eight points with another pair, they came out on top on countback, with a combined fish length of 920cm.

The event was won by the north-eastern pair of Neil Cutler and Gareth Gardiner, who recorded three points at Drake Road.

Stevie Graham and Tommy Tate came second.

The next SPAC match will be held on July 25 from 5-9pm at Chapel Point, with club members fishing for the Roy Parker Memorial Cup.
