WYBERTON-based Team Green/G&S Racing has expanded and will run a second rider for the 2011 season.
Regular rider Tom Fisher, 23, will once again contest the Superstock 600 championship, while new recruit Jonathan Howarth will race in the National Superstock 1000 class.
Team Green/G&S Racing is a family-run team operated by Graham and Sue Pearson.
Graham is a lorry driver by trade and has spent considerable time and effort chasing sponsors to help with the day to day running costs of the team who are also supported by Kawasaki Motors UK.
Green will begin a second term on the Kawasaki ZX-6R for Team Green/G&S Racing at Brands Hatch at the weekend and, after some intensive pre-season testing is raring to go.
Howarth, 27, is also itching for the season to get started.
He contested a round of the NG club championship in March to give the bike a run out under race conditions and was thrilled to secure six wins from six starts.
Fisher said: “The bike is looking and feeling great.
“Our pre-season testing went really well and we are now ready for the first race at Brands Hatch.
“The new team is all coming together and so now it is down to Jono and me to perform.”
Howarth added: “The new ZX-10 is proving to be a very competitive bike as expected.
“With the race meeting at Brands Hatch Indy already under my belt on board the new ZX-10 I am feeling confident with the bike so roll on round one.”
Racing is set to commence at Brands Hatch on Good Friday with testing followed by free practice and qualifying for both classes on Saturday and Sunday.
The first round of the National Superstock 1000 championship will take place over 24 laps of the Indy circuit at 11am on Easter Monday.
The National Superstock 600 also run over 24 laps is due to start at 1.45pm.
