Young Tom is top angler

Youngster Tom Edwards won the Sunday Open at Westwood Lakes.

He claimed a 97lbs haul on Skylark Lane from peg 16.

Tom fished tight across to the island on pellet to catch a mixed bag of fish.

In second was Brian Harding and Cameron Stokes came third.

John Hall was successful on the Saturday Open with 132lbs 13oz.

He fished across into the shallow water on pellet to catch all F1 Carp.

Ashley Miller was second and the third-placed angler was Paul Harsley.

Ken Clark won Thursday’s Over 50′s Open with 113lbs 9oz.

Ken fished short and down the edge late on to catch a mixed bag of fish on pellet.

In second was Janusz Kedzierski with 98lbs 14oz and in third was Spike Milligan with 93lbs 0oz.
