Fancy trying out rowing? Perhaps you’ve got the bug after watching Great Britain’s success in the Olympics last year?

Well, if that’s the case, now is your chance.

Boston Rowing Club will be hosting adult and junior taster sessions later this month.

The occasions will be a chance for anyone who would like to try the sport to have a go on the river.

The adult taster session will be held on Sunday, June 16, from 10am until noon.

The junior taster event - for youngsters aged between 11 and 18 years - will take place on Saturday, June 22.

Again, it will run from 10am to midday.

Under British Rowing’s Rowability sessions, Boston Rowing Club will also welcome those people with disabilities who would like to try something different. The club can provide specialist training and equipment to assist in overcoming many disabilities which they think may prevent them from participating in a sport.
