Celebrating in birthday style
Mickie Simpson celebrated his 12th birthday in style '“ by claiming a series of victories at the Fenland Grasstrack Club near Peterborough.
He started Saturday’s first day of racing on the inner youth track with a second place after a wrong tyre choice left him struggling for drive.
He returned to the pits and made a few changes to the tyre and gearing to then go onto three race wins and top spot on the podium to celebrate his birthday with a smile.

Hide AdOn Sunday it was onto the larger adult track where Mickie rode even better with three convincing wins.
He also claimed a second place behind Camron Taylor in a further race, where he gave the rest of the field a head start off the line.
He will now compete in the next round of the British Speedway Championship at Scunthorpe Speedway this Bank Holiday Monday.
