British Supersport rider Ben Wilson will now call one of his biggest foes in the sport his teammate.
Alistair Seeley took the 2011 title after an amazing season-long battle with Wilson, beating the Kirton ace by just one point.
He went on to ride in the British Superbike championship last year for Tyco Suzuki, ending the season in a disappointing 13th place.
But now the two will spend 2013 together in the green of Gearlink Kawasaki.
Asked how he felt about his arch rival becoming his teammate, Wilson replied: “It will not make any difference to my race preparation, whoever my teammate is.
“I know Seeley is competitive and I expect we will be challenging each other throughout the season, but I will remain focused on the job in hand.”
The season begins on April 7 at Brands Hatch.
