Stark wows the crowd

Boston's Shaun Stark wowed a large crowd with a stunning performance in the 4x4 SUV bangers at King's Lynn's Wacky Races.

Stark, who also used the day to raise money for a cystic fibrosis charity, which one of his fans suffers from, was in great form this weekend.

He put in a terrific performance in his heat and won the entertainer award, before coming back and finishing second in the Destruction Derby.

In addition Stark was handed a merit award.

Also in action were Boston-area drivers Dean Moljourd and Mark Ginders, who also received an entertainer award.

Boston’s Matt Bradshaw was in action in the 2L bangers, whilst Ian Cowern was seventh in the 1300cc stock cars.

Racing retuns to Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena this Saturday (5.30pm).
