There they will be seeking some strong results at the fast and bumpy Hampshire circuit.

Last time out both riders brought points back to the team, and they will be encouraged by this to score well again this weekend.

East Kirkby racer Philp has two races at Thruxton in the British Supersport class, the short sprint race on Saturday followed by the feature race on Sunday.

He has two bites of the cherry to try to get up into the points.

Clarke, from Kirton, will be encouraged by his fine performance at Snetterton in the Superstock 600 class, and will be hoping to add to his points tally on Sunday.

Clarke’s schedule begins with a free practice session at 9am on Friday, followed by first qualifying at 1.15pm.
