Members of Boston’s Evolution Martial Arts have been on the winners’ podium again this week.

Competing in the CIMAC Southern Championships in Windsor, kickboxer Nesta Baxter took first place in the girls’ under 50kg light continous category.

She played her part in two brilliant fights to get first place overall.

Meanwhile, 10-year-old Ambie Brocklesby was runner-up in the boys’ under 30kg points event.

Going home with the third medal for the club was Chelsea Leggatt.

She came third in the girls’ under 55kg points category, with some top fighting.

In September, both Nesta, 13, and Ambie will travel with the Great Britain squad to compete in Poland.

Boston-based SmartMove is helping the due get to mainland Europe by giving them £700 sponsorship money.

However, the two youngsters are still appealing for more sponsors to help them take part in the event, near Krakow.
