Dale said: “Robbie visited the cafe after reading reviews on social media about our home cooked food.”

The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) player has vowed to return to the Rumblin Tum when he is next in the area.

Green, who was runner-up at the 2009 BDO World Masters, is the second big name darts player to visit the cafe.

Two years ago the three-time world championship runner-up Tony O’Shea popped in.
