The Peterborough Regatta was a two-day event which saw 17 entries from the Carlton Road Boathouse, but it was the youngsters who brought home the trophies.

First to bring home a win on Saturday was Haven Middleton-Horner in his J13 1x, followed swiftly by the WJ15 4x+ girls Madison Lambe, Ruby Latka, Bunty Blanchard and Jasmine Latka, aided by cox Lewis Belton.

The third win of the day came in the IM1 1x for Lewis Todd.

On Sunday the team were hunting down more wins.

Middleton-Horner took his second victory of the weekend in J13 1x, while Blanchard (WJ15 1x) and the Latka twins and Lambe, along with Samantha Watson and Jenna Charman (WNOV 4+) added to their trophies.

Lambe joined Jacques Gavey to make up a mixed double in IM3 2x and, in the final and most tense race of the day, they recorded another victory.

Sunday also saw Todd take his second win of the weekend in the IM1 1X.

The annual Boston Rowing Marathon will be held on the Witham on September 18.
