Martin tops the TT

Martin White clocked the fastest time at the Boston Wheelers 10-Mile TT last Tuesday.

He finished in 23 mins 50 secs.

On Thursday there was a geat turnout for the youth Go Race night at the Tattershall Go Kart track.

Jael Maw finished third in the under 10s at the Fenland Clarion Go-ride grasstrack races on Friday, pushing the two boys in first and second all the way.

The following day, Jael claimed third in the latest round of the regional MTB XC series, fighting back the tears following a first-lap fall which included a back injury and nettle stings.

After the hard work on the mountain bike in the morning, Jael then switched to urban cyclo-cross racing at the Queen Victoria event held at Ironbridge.

From a starting pack of 80 riders she finished fourth in the under 10s girl category.

Saturday’s Wheelers Go ride session, for youngsters, took a trip away from its usual home at the Princess Royal Sports Arena and ventured off road at Ostlers Plantation at Woodhall Spa.
