Boston Standard Premier Division

MARK Simpson overcame a tough match against Dave Hasnip to remain top of the Premier league.

The match went to a deciding seventh leg, with Mark finding the bull to finish on 85.

In a close match, Paul Hutter and Andy Cammack both checked well, although Andy edged it 4-3.

Paul Grainger was more consistent than Darren Aucote, but he failed to hit his doubles, allowing Darren to win 4-0.

Deb Royal checked well to see off Dan Flynn 4-1 while another seven-legger saw Ady Parker just get the better of Graham Sharp.

Lincs Racing Division Two

ALI Barker was in fine form against league leader Pete Grooby, claiming a big upset to win 4-0.

A good match between Rob Cade and Rob Scrupps saw both score steadily, although Scrupps took advantage of the doubles to win 4-0.

Jimmy Birtwhistle hit a 180 on his way to a 4-1 victory over Luke Everitt.

Redvers Dickinson hit a 180 in a 4-1 win, this time against Ben Leadbetter.

Rob Scrupps checked well against Jimmy Birtwhistle, winning 4-1 in a clash that was tighter than the score suggests.

It was nip and tuck all the way as Matt Grant took on Darren Blythe, although Matt won 4-2.

John Smith’s Division Three

IT WAS a case of whoever found the doubles would win as Carl Baily met Tina Willacombe. On this occasion, it was Carl, winning 3-0.

Suzy Watson took a good 3-1 win against Di Hunt, while Phil Hunt was made to earn his 3-1 success against Emma Grant. Angie Upsall was the steadier against Sophie Marston as she earned yet another 3-1 win.

In the mother-versus-daughter match, Louise Willacombe got the better of mum Tina, winning 3-0.

Dennis Turner found the winning double to beat Mel Leadbetter 3-2 as Bob Birtwhistle beat Carl Baily 3-0.

Another 3-0 success saw Angie Upsall beat Mel Leadbetter.
