BOSTON Rugby Club will face one of the sternest tests of their season to date on Saturday, as they travel to face third-placed Keyworth.

The Blue and Whites have been dominant in the Midland 5 East (North) League to date.

They currently sit top of the table, with a 100 per cent win record.

However, Willem Jonker’s men could be described as being a little match rusty after only playing one competitive match this year.

Once again, their fixture fell foul of the weather conditions.

They were planning to host Castle Donington on Saturday.

However, the match was postponed for the fourth time this term.

Twice the visitors have postponed the fixture due to not being able to raise a side.

The other two occasions have been down to an unplayable, frozen surface.

Kick off at Keyworth is 2.15pm.

BOSTON’S under sixes, sevens and eights were prepared for a game against Grimsby - but the contest was postponed for the second time.

Regardless, 14 players turned up to enjoy an indoor training session to practice.

Boston Rugby Club’s mini section is on the lookout for more players.

Anyone aged five-12 is encouraged to join in training sessions.

Training takes place at the Princess Royal Sports Arena from 10.30am-noon on Sundays.

Further information is available from James Vickers on 07765 400175.
