Boston Rugby Club have conceded top spot in the Midlands 4 East (North).

The Blue and Whites’ match at Nottingham Boots Corsairs was postponed on Saturday as the rain fell heavily.

However, title rivals Skegness managed to get their game against rivals Cleethorpes to go ahead.

And their 26-17 home win was enough to see them leapfrog Boston.

Skegness currently sit one point ahead of Willem Jonker’s (pictured) men, having played one extra game.

However, Boston remain unbeaten in the Midland 4 division, after beginning the season on -12 points and will believe they have enough momentum behind them to see them continue their victorious ways following the Christmas break.

Boston return to action on January 5, when they host Nottinghamians.

On Sunday, Boston Rugby Club’s First XV played the President’s XV, made up of former players and guests.
