The Boston Buccaneers’ Rugby League debut has been put on hold.
The newly-formed side were set to host Derby City in their first-ever match at the Princess Royal Sports Arena this Saturday.
However, the contest has been postponed.
It is now hoped that the two teams will now lock horns on the Boardsides on May 31.
The Buccaneers will play their first season in the Midlands Merit League, but a series of good results could see them moved into the Midlands Premier League next season.
