Boston Rugby Club - with a little help from their friends the Leicester Tigers - are inviting anybody interested in the sport to learn more at a family fun day on Saturday.

The event held at the Princess Royal Sports Arena will see coaches on hand to offer drills, tips and games of tag rugby for males and females aged from five to seniors.

The Blue and Whites currently cater for mini, junior and senior teams, including girls’ sides - and they are also now looking to put together a ladies’ team.

Premiership side Leicester - who will run a training camp with Boston during half term this October - will also have a presence on the day.

There will also be tombolas, stalls and more activities for the whole family.

There will also be a free barbecue, in conjunction with Tulip, for anyone who takes part in the rugby action.

The family fun day will begin at 10am and runs through to 4.30pm, but you can drop by at any time.

There will also be a chance to watch the Boston Buccaneers, the club’s Rugby League side, in action against Midland Premier rivals Sherwood Wolf Hunt in the afternoon.
