Boston Rugby Club’s Second XV earned a comprehensive 56-0 victory at Lincoln Thirds.
Jaron Cowern and Michael Baldwin scored early tries, with Chris Lomas kicking a conversion.
Boston then had to defend well to sustain a seies of Lincoln attacks before Jaron Cowern teed up Kurt Charalambou to extend the lead, before Lomas converted again.
Lomas then spent a spell in the sin bin before Matt North began the second half by scoring his first try for the club, which Jonny Neal converted.
Cowern touched down following Neal’s cross-field pass.
With 20 minutes remaining Boston were given a penalty just inside Lincolns 22.
The quick tap and a diagonal run by Mitch Bray saw him crash over the line for his first try of the season.
A penalty kick from distance by Chris Lomas made it 39-0.
Boston kept pinning Lincoln deep in their own half with excellent territory kicking from Neal, one which saw Baldwin pick up a loose ball to score his second try on 70 minutes.
Neal again converted.
Mark Smith forced his way across the try line to get his first Boston try beforfe Baldwin completed his hat-trick with the game’s final score.
