Boston Rugby Club’s under 16s won the Notts, Lincs and Derbyshire Rugby Sevens Shield on Sunday.
In the pool matches, the young Blue and Whites started in style as they beat Market Rasen 21-14.
Olli Balsom scored all three tries, which were converted by Matt Bray.
Match number two saw them beaten heavily, going down 33-0 to Derby.
But that Balsom-Bray combination came good again in the third pool match as Boston beat Lincoln 7-0.
Match number four, against Mansfield Whites, saw Boston go down 12-7, with Balsom scoring the try and Bray converting yet again.
The Blue and Whites managed to squeeze through to the knockout stages on points, where they beat Spalding 31-14.
Balsom added two more tries to his tally, with James Andrews, Matt Bray and Alex Roberts also scoring.
Bray added three conversions as Boston booked their place in the final to face Mansfield A.
And it was Boston who lifted the shield in style, beating their opponents 41-0.
Balsom scored two tries with further scores coming from Herbie Laidlaw, Alex Roberts, Ross Chambers, Bray and Ben Clawson.
Bray kicked two conversions and Laidlaw added another.
