Matches due to be played at the re-start of the Boston and District Winter League on Sunday were put off for another day due to the snow covered courts.
The current table shows the team positions at the re-start of play, which will, weather permitting, be next weekend.
Indoor tournaments fared better and there was an under 10 boys’ grade three tournament held at Boston Tennis Club over Saturday and Sunday.
Grade three level tournaments represent regional level and the standard is high.
Two Boston Tennis Club players did well to gain entry in to this event and both played some very good tennis during the two-day event.
Daniel Dorey and Lucas East competed with an eagerness to win.
Lucas reached the final of the consolation but missed out in a tie-break.
Both players gained from the experience of this tournament.
