KIRTON Holme Golf Club’s tigers’ medal winner for May was Vic Smith, who carded a gross 85 (nett 68).

He pipped Trevor Byng on countback.

Barry Chambers was third with a gross 83 (nett 71).

The rabbits’ May medal winner was Michael Harrison, who carded a gross 91 (nett 69).

Peter Pell was second with a gross 100 (nett 74), with Pete Sharman third with a gross 96 (nett 75).

The seniors’ May medal was won by Mick Pickett with a gross 78 (nett 64).

Terry Norey came second with a gross 94 (nett 68), and Barrie Williamson was third with a gross 95 (nett 69).

The May Stableford was won by Derek Bannister with 43 points.

Nick Coupland was second on countback with 41 points, and Dave Spence came third, also with 41.

The A team have had mixed fortunes in their league fixtures thus far, beating Thorney Lakes 4–2 but losing to Tydd 6–0 and South Kyme 4–2.

The B team drew their only game so far, 3-3 with Eagles GC.

The seniors beat Sudbrook Moor 4-2 but lost to Gedney 6-0.

The Malcolm Jelley Shield was won by Barry Carter and Jenny Newhouse with 40 points.

Clive and Margaret Johns were second with 39 and Cliff and Christine Edmondson third with 38 points.
