Go-karter Tyler Bridge marked his debut at the Lodge Road track at Tattershall with a second-place standing.

With the season well on its way, it was always going to be a tall order for Tyler to make an impression on the track.

Kirton’s Kiran Hudson was also making his debut but after his clutch gave way his day came to an early end.

The first race was declared a wet race, but the track looked more suitable for swimmers.

Despite this, Tyler, from Bicker, put in a strong challenge, taking second place in the first and second heats.

He finished third in his final heat, putting him second on the grid for the final.

The track had dried out and the young gun gave it his best shot, completing the 10-lap final, securing second place in his group, behind Keiron McCartney, the championship leader.
