Wilson looking to gain ground

Tuesday, 10am - BEN Wilson travels to Norfolk's Snetterton track for round five of the Fuchs/Silkolene British Supersport championship - where he will be anxious to continue to produce a top result for Gearlink Kawasaki.

Wilson, from Kirton, is currently fourth in the rider standings, but keen to improve his placing.

Last time out, Wilson crossed the line in sixth at Thruxton, and will be trying hard to improve at Snetterton.

"I am really enjoying my racing this year," said Wilson.

"The Gearlink Kawasaki team have made me very welcome and put a lot of time and effort into making sure my bike is in tip top condition prior to each race.

"I will be doing my best to repay them for their sterling efforts by riding to the best of my ability at Snetterton and bringing another strong result to the team."

Free practice is on Friday, with two qualifying periods on Saturday ahead of the 20-lap race at the 1.592-mile Norfolk venue on Sunday (3.30pm).

The race will again benefit from live television coverage on British Eurosport 2.
