FORMER Boston man Matthew Swire has married Kathryn Cliffe at New York City Hall, Manhattan.

The groom is the only son of Malcolm and Jenny Swire, of Windsor Bank, Boston.

He attended King Edward VI School, Spilsby, Boston College and Sheffield Hallam University.
He works in Sheffield.
The bride is from Sheffield and now works at Sheffield Hallam University, where she was educated. She is the eldest daughter of Ruth and Ray Turner, of France.

She wore an ivory-coloured dress with embroidered bodice and carried ivory silk flowers.

The ceremony, witnessed by the bride's sister, Anna Cliffe, and her partner Andrew Dudley, both of Boston, Massachusetts, was followed by a celebration at the Boat House Restaurant in the city's Central Park.

The couple honeymooned in New York and will make their home in Sheffield.
