LAURA Elizabeth Overton and Lee Alan Harvey have married at St Mary's Church, Old Leake, in a ceremony conducted by the Rev Graham Wright.

The bride is the eldest daughter of Martyn and Wendy Overton, of Church Road, Old Leake, and the groom is the eldest son of Alan and Ruth Harvey, of Shardloes, Branston, Lincoln.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory taffeta dress with full skirt and train and a fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of red and cream roses with ivy and other greenery.

Bridesmaids were Emily Overton (bride's sister), Harriet Bridges (bride's friend), Lisa Harvey (groom's sister), and Abigail Harvey (groom's sister). They all wore long dresses of burgundy taffeta.

Best men were David Old (groom's school friend) and Michael Green (groom's university friend) and the ushers were Ashley Harvey (groom's brother) and Lawrence Ayre (bride's sister's partner). The best men, ushers and fathers wore black morning suits, ivory waistcoats, burgundy cravats and handkerchiefs.

Following a reception at Old Leake Community Centre, the couple left for a honeymoon in Las Vegas. They are to live in Queensbury, Bradford.

The bride was educated at Boston High School and Bradford University and is a resource manager for an educational company. The groom attended Branston Community College and Bretton Hall University and is keyboard player with the Queen tribute band Mercury and a music teacher at Lincoln College.
