KATIE Early and Mike Smith, of Manchester, have married at Harlaxton Manor, Grantham, in a ceremony conducted by registrar Tania Lamley.
Katie is the only daughter of Ken and Helena Early, of Lindis Road, Boston, and Mike is the youngest son of Christine Chatburn, of Holmes Chapel, Cheshire, and the late David Smith.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a Fifties-style gown designed by Caroline Parkes in ivory satin, off the shoulder and with rouching on the bodice and an A-line skirt. She carried a posy of cream Vandella roses.
She was attended by Anna Bush, Ceri Johnson, Leonie Dixon (friends), Georgia Edwards and Harriet Smith (bridegroom's nieces) and Harrison Boyd (bridegroom's nephew). The senior attendants wore chocolate brown satin dresses while Georgia and Harriet wore cream satin.

Best man was Mark Johnson, and following a reception at Harlaxton Manor the couple left for a honeymoon on the Amalfi coast, Italy. They are to live in Manchester.
The bride attended Boston High School and Birmingham University and is a retail buyer, while the groom attended

The Grange, Northwich and Birmingham University and is a gallery director.
