ELAINE Baxter and Robert Sturgess have married at the Poachers Country Hotel in a ceremony conducted by registrar J. Barton.
The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs T. Swainsbury, of South Street, Swineshead, and the groom is the only son of Mr and Mrs B. Sturgess, of St Andrew’s Drive, Skegness.

Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory full-length dress embroidered with flowers and sequins and carried a bouquet of ivory roses, gypsophila and freesia.

She was attended by page boys Ryan Baxter and Jack Sturgess (sons), who both wore Prince Edward navy suits.

Best men were Richard Mugglestone and Paul Day.

Following a reception at the Poachers Country Hotel, the couple left for a honeymoon in the Algarve, Portugal. They are to live at Lowgate Lane, Bicker.

The bride was educated at Thomas Cowley Secondary School, Donington, and is an insurance administrator for Barclays Brokers.

The groom attended Skegness Grammar School and is also an insurance administrator for Barclays Brokers.
