His take on the country music legend has won high-profile acclaim; Cash’s eldest daughter, Rosanne Cash, said ‘his resemblance is uncanny’, while his granddaughter, Caitlin Cowell, praised Clive for capturing her grandfather ‘just as he was’.

On stage, Clive will be joined by Jill Schoonjans as June Carter, as well as Nick Davis on the electric guitar, Martin Bentley on the double bass, and Darren Bazzoni on the drums.

Material will be performed from across Cash’s career, including Walk The Line and Folsom Prison Blues, recorded with Sun Records in the 1950s, and Hurt, his last release in 2002, recorded by Rick Rubin for the producer’s American Recordings label.

In between, audiences can expect such favourites as Man in Black, Boy Named Sue, The Ring of Fire, and - as a duet -Jackson.

All these will be accompanied by evocative screen images and shots from Cash’s life.

Tickets are priced at £21.50 or £10 for children.
