A sandy beach, double the size of last year’s, will again be laid in the park and donkey rides, bouncy castles, circus skills, games, competitions and beach-related arts and crafts will be laid on, all for free.

Boston Big Local will again fund this year’s event and it will be supported by partner agencies - Mayflower Housing, Boston Children’s Centre, Transported Arts and Boston United in the Community.

The beach will be open from 10am to 3pm both days and all for free.

And there will be free family entertainment in the Market Place on Fridays,July 22 and 29... when you get a chance to put dad in the medieval stocks and throw wet sponges at him.
