Stargazers are being invited to a Jupiter Watch event at RSPB Frampton Marsh on Friday night.
The event is run by the South Lincolnshire Astronomical and Geophysical Society (SOLAGS) as part of National Astronomy Week, which began on March 1.
The event will be held in the grounds of the RSPB bird sanctuary from 6pm until 10pm.
A group spokesman said: “Weather permitting we will have telescopes tracking Jupiter, one of which will be showing on a screen inside the visitors centre.”
Expert Paul Money will be on hand on Saturday, giving a talk on Jupiter.
Everyone is welcome but anyone under the age of eighteen must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Anyone wanting any more information about the event or SOLAGS should find the group’s page on Facebook.
