Performers and producers gathered at Blackfriars Theatre to officially launch this year’s pantomime.
The show this year will be Dick Whittington and will be put together by Tony Peers Productions.
The pantomime tells the story of a poor boy from Gloucester, aided by friend Tommy the Cat, as they embark on a series of adventures on a journey to become Mayor of London.
The show will feature Blackfriars favourite Gerry Graham as Sarah the Cook and later this year open auditions will be held to find local performers to join in.
Choreographer Abi Kingsley-Parker said: “We’re delighted to be opening auditions up to dancers from wherever this year, giving childen from Lincolnshire an opportunity to perform.”
