A student is on the lookout for an actress to play the part of a 75-year-old in a film being made at locations across the borough.

Sara-Lee Simpson, of Church Road, Boston, a former St Nicholas Primary School and Boston High School pupil, is in her final year at Coventry University, studying for a media production degree.

Her final project will be a film set in the past and present, telling of the romance between a young woman and RAF pilot killed during the Second World War.

Sara-Lee needs someone to play Amelia, a woman aged about 75 . It will be shot in Boston, Butterwick and Freiston on March 24 and 25.

Sara-Lee said: “Not only will the film be a drama, but it’ll also be historically correct and promote the Lincolnshire area during its war years, and the RAF bases.”
