AN EAGER queue of bookworms awaited a renowned British crime novelist when he visited Boston on Thursday.
Author Peter Robinson, best known for his DCI Banks series of books, was at the town’s Waterstones store to promote his 22nd novel - Before The Poison.
The book is described as ‘a suspenseful exploration of guilt, self-sacrifice and redemption’.
Peter, who has never visited Boston before, said he was very impressed with the Stump: “I had a look around the town and was in awe of the parish church here – it looks like a cathedral.”
Peter’s DCI Banks novels have been turned into an ITV drama series, the latest of which will be screened on Friday at 9pm.
