Festive waddle walk to burn off calories

PEOPLE who overindulge over the Christmas period can burn off their excess calories with a special charity walk.

Called The Christmas Waddle, the two-mile walk is for people with or without dogs, and will raise money in aid of Hearing Dogs for the Deaf and Macmillan Cancer Support.

It will take place on Tuesday at 11am with walkers setting off from The Moores Arms, in Frampton.

Hearing Dogs for the Deaf voluntary fundraiser June Spouncer said: “It’s the ideal way to work off that Christmas feast.”

Entry is £2 adults, £1 children.
