HEADLESS horsemen and green goblins wouldn’t have looked too out of place in the Boston area over the weekend.

Young and old sported frightening faces, ghoulish gladrags, witchy wigs and monstrous masks to get into the ‘spirit’ of several fun events held across the borough.

A haunting Kick-it party was held on Friday at Bridge House, Boston, with about 20 youngters playing a variety of fun spooky-themed games.

In Kirton, a Halloween-themed event at Savannah Equestrian centre, in Drainside North, saw riders in fancy dress saddling up for competitive ‘jump cross’ action on Sunday.

In Boston’s Pescod Square, ‘fiendish facepainters decorated young faces while ‘floatie ghosties’ haunted the precinct and scared shoppers.
