The 60th anniversary of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II will be marked in Boston with a tea event at Fydell House.

The event, organised by The Friends of St Botolph’s Church, takes place on Saturday, from 2-5pm.

Tickets cost £7.50 and visitors will be able to enjoy a traditional tea in the grounds of the historic venue.

Tickets for the tea are available from the Stump shop.

The Mayor of Boston Coun Paul Kenny will attend and tickets will be on sale for a grand draw.

The winners’ tickets will be pulled out of the hat at the annual general meeting of the Friends on June 17 at an event held in the Stump.
