Boston will be alive with open-air music on Sunday, June 8, when the first Buskers’ Day is held.
The event, in aid of Boston Flood Aid, will take place from 2-4.30pm on South Street, the Market Place and Wide Bargate.
The youngest busker performing will be 16-year-old Stuart Lowther from Middlecott School, Kirton.
The busks will include pop, skiffle, traditional jazz, ukuleles and George Formby banjo ukuleles.
Organiser and banjolele player Roger Budge came up with the idea after attending a similar day. Roger said: “We have had good support from local musicians so far and, with the weather on our side, it will be a very good event.”
