Young performers will be producing a sketch show as part of Boston Children’s Theatre 2015 season at Blackfriars Theatre from tonight (Friday)

Tonight (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday), at 7pm, the theatre group will be performing at the Spain Lane venue.

The show will consist of two groups with group one (aged eight-11 years) performing excerpts from Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
Judith Hall said: “Group one consists only of five children so when we decided to perform the excerpts we took on quite a challenge.

“Not only does it mean that each child has a lot of lines to learn but they also have to play more than one character. For such young children to create a believable character is quite an achievement but to change characters for each of seven scenes takes a lot of dedication.”

Group two (aged 12-18 years) will be performing their own production which will be based on radio sketches and will be recorded live - including audience reaction – to be broadcast on Endeavour Radio at a later date.

Tickets cost £7.50 adult, £6 child and concessions.
