World-renowned classical singer Russell Watson comes to Skegness this weekend.

The Salford-born tenor will appear at the Embassy Theatre on Saturday at 7.30pm with his Up Close and Personal tour.

He will be joined by Digby Military Wives Choir on the evening.

Russell is the UK’s best-selling classical artist; he has sold in excess of seven million albums worldwide and has also won four Classic Brit Awards.

He was described by the New York Times as a performer ‘who sings like Pavarotti and entertains the audience like Sinatra’,

He has performed for some of the world’s most high-profile figures, including The Queen, the late Pope John Paul II, and former US president Bill Clinton, and his collaborations include the late Luciano Pavarotti, Lionel Richie, Michael Bolton, Cliff Richard, Lulu, Sarah Brightman, and X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.
