THREE musical groups will be performing at Boston’s St Botolph’s Church on Saturday.
Boston Sinfonia, the Midlands Hospitals’ Choir (MHC) and Gainsborogh Choral Society will be performing works by Borodin, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov from 7.30pm at the church.
Boston Sinfonia is the orchestra in residence at the Stump and, after being founded in 1996, has gained a reputation for outstanding performances under the direction of musical director and principal conductor Nigel Morley.
There are currently more than 120 musicians on the orchestra who can play at concerts with between 32 and 65 playing at any one time.
The MHC is a mixed voice choir mainly drawn from the medical and associated professions.
Gainsborough Choir was formed in 1860.
Tickets to the show cost £10, £12 on the door, under 18s free.
