A CLARINET and piano duo will be performing at Swineshead Village Hall on Friday.
Kimon Parry and Tony Ingham will be performing for the Windmill Studio Concerts from 7.30pm.
Kimon’s recent successes include winning the 2011 Clarinet and Saxophone Society (CASS) Solo Clarinet Competition and reaching the 2012 finals of the Wind and Percussion section of the Royal Overseas-League Annual Competition.
Last year he completed his Masters of Arts with distinction and during his undergraduate degree he won the RCM Edward and Helen Hague Senior Woodwind Prize in 2008.
Kimon has played with the London Chamber Orchestra, the Philharmonia and the London Sinfonietta.
He will be performing with pianist Tony and the pair will be giving a recital that will include works by Brahms, Debussy, Rachmaninov, Finzi and Bartok.
