EXPERIENCE the feel of Glastonbury at the Axe and Cleaver on Saturday when four veterans of the summer festivals scene return to the venue.

The Festivals Experience, consisting of Trip Switch, Christian Forthright, Quentin Spentlove and Tarquin Forsythe, will be performing from 9pm.

The four have been regularly working beer tents at events including Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds since 1997 and have constructed their set list from what they consider the best of the best.

They include covers of artists from the Happy Mondays and Stone Roses through to Brit pop such as Oasis, Blue, Travis and Coldplay.

The band make a regular appearance at the Axe and Cleaver, often making the ‘pilgrimage’ twice a year.

Quentin said: “The crowd at the Axe are never the same at any two gigs, but they always have the same enthusiasm and capacity for alcohol intake which results in the best party atmosphere at any venue we know.”

The Festivals Experience are regularly booked at a wide variety of venues and functions including small pub gigs, university balls, private functions (wedding receptions and birthday parties), large dedicated music venues and open air festivals.

Entry is free.
