Performance at Boston Folk Club

Boston Folk Club welcome blue's duo The King Biscuit Boys as March's guests to The Eagle, in West Street, Boston, on Monday, March 13.

The band is made up of Jon Townsend on guitar and vocals, and Craig Stocker who plays harmonica, drums and percussion, as well as washboard and the melodica.

A spokesman for the band said: “The King Bisucits Boys are a blues duo who play in the tradition of the acoustic blues of the 30s, 40s, and 50s, a wide range of blues styles to suit the venue and occassion.”

A spokesman for Boston Folk Club said: “Their live shows are interspersed by emotion filled songs and humorous numbers which is the epitome of blues, a must see.”

Audiences have said about the band: ‘this unlikely duo have the rarest of things, chemistry’ and another said ‘they gave us some delightful country and delta blues with tongue in cheek humour blending nicely into a very entertaining set.”

Tickets for the gig are priced at £6 on the door.

Music starts at 8.15pm on Monday, March 13.
