Tea pot auction to raise cash for village hall

A NEW Bolingbroke pub are hoping to pour much needed cash into the village hall’s funds following a potty event tonight.

The new management team at the Royal Oak are hoping to auction off between 70-100 teapots which were left behind by the former owner.

New owner Tracy Dutton said: “There’s an awful lot of teapots, and their not really my cup of tea.”

Starting at 7pm, it will be followed by live music from local band Nothin Serious.

Guests will also be able to see the new-look dining room and sample free tasters of the pubs new menu which will be launched on Sunday.

All proceeds to New Bolingbroke Village Hall.
