The Stump to hold musical concerts

A series of lunctime concerts are to be held in the impressive setting of Boston Stump.

The Wednesday performances got under way last week with a visit of Dr Tim Williams, director of St Wulfram’s in Grantham.

The remaining line-up includes a number of sets by the church’s very own Marc Murray (pictured above). They are as follows:

Today (August 7) – Lisa Taylor (director of music at St James’, Louth)

August 14 – Marc Murray (organist and director of music at St Botolph’s).

August 21 – Marc Murray will be joined by local soprano Lyndsey Evans who will sing works by Mozart and Stephen Sondheim.

August 28 – Marc Murray.

The concerts are held from 1-1.45pm and are free to attend with a retiring collection.
