Tap into the local rock music scene with an upcoming gig by Boston band Audio Tap.

The rock quartet have been around for a while - but now have a new line-up in the form of lead singer Joe Patten, drummer Jonny Crunkhorn, lead guitarist Luke Christian and bass player Declan Bryan.

Taking their influence from a variety of artists - from Steel Panther and Van Halento Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters and Ed Sheeran - they play a blend of classic rock and modern melodies.

They cover songs from a variety of popular bands from across the decades - but also produce original music.

In fact, they are currently finalising their first album ‘Moving On’ – a track from which, called ‘I’m Alright’, is free to download via their Facebook page.

“We are hoping to stay as independent as we can, allowing us free control on the music we make,” said Luke.

“We already have our own studio and all theequipment we need to play anywhere, but our aim is to make music people will love.”

The gig will take place at The Railway pub, in London Road, Boston, on Saturday, March 14, from 9.30pm.

Free entry.
