A Boston man known for having a cinema in his back yard and a collection of original film reels, is showing some of his movies and newsreels for charity.
Wyberton’s Maurice Brader, AKA Mr Boston Cinema Man, will be setting up in his home village’s parish hall for a Nostalgia Film Show on Saturday, November 10, at 6.30pm.
His collection includes a number of stars from the Big Silver Screen of yesteryear including John Wayne, Maurice Chevalier, Clark Gable, Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy.
He will also show a British Gaumont newsreel from the 1940-50s.
A raffle will also be held and organisers are asking for people to take along prizes.
